The blog was started as a class project at Montclair State University. Students in Harold Olejarz's Spring, 2011 class began adding videos in February, 2011. Adding motion to still images

Ken Burns is a director who uses still images in his movies. He is known for panning and zooming into still pictures to give them the sense of motion.
